Hello to all food lovers and sweet tooths!
In the spring, when it all started, the idea of creating a recipe calendar came to me.
It seemed like a great opportunity to collect all my favorite recipes and give them a new life.
So I started creating a calendar where each month there was a different cake, pie or pretzel that would perfectly match the mood of that season.
A total of 12 different recipes, the ingredients of which are easily accessible to everyone.
Creating the calendar was an exciting and creative process. I had to choose the best recipes and take photos. It was my opportunity to share my passion for food and creativity and offer others inspiration to cook in their own kitchen.
But the recipe calendar was just the first step towards my big dream - to write my own cookbook. I have always admired cookbook authors and dreamed that one day I too would be able to put my recipes and stories on paper and share them with everyone.
By saying my dream out loud, I think the probability of it coming true is much higher.
So, with this recipe calendar I am taking a step closer to making my dream come true.
Get ready to discover new flavors and create your own masterpieces, because together we can create something truly magical!
I also want to say that be brave to follow your dreams and desires. Don't wait for the perfect time to take action, it won't come.
Just get started!
I took the first photos for this calendar in the spring. They are also the first pictures I took using photo backgrounds. I haven't learned it anywhere, nor have I taken any courses. I'm more of a self-taught and experimenter.
When I started doing it, all this design somehow came by itself. It's very similar to cake decorating, where I can be very creative.
Right now, I would change quite a few things in this calendar.
But I know that if I had waited for that perfect moment when I was experienced enough, I wouldn't have started.
And I'm glad I did it anyway, because we learn best by doing.
In this calendar you will find many recipes praised by customers, my favorites, as well as new and interesting baked goods.
A little introduction to the calendar:
January– we start the year with a tuna sandwich cake
February– instead of classic Easter buns, we have beetroot buns with jam and whipped cream
March– simple coconut candies
April– smoked chicken-cucumber pretzel
May– according to the season, still rhubarb curd cake
June– cupcake hit: brownie cupcakes with salted caramel
July– for the season of fresh berries, bake an airy pavlova with lemon butter and cream cheese cream
August– after the first blueberry pie bake curd cakes
September– we always celebrate the new school year with a cake: cream cheese cake with white chocolate and cherry jam
October– quick chocolate chip cookies to take to a friend's house
November– on a cold November weekend, it's a good idea to make a Napoleon cake, with a light orange custard and lingonberry jam
December– At Christmas we want to surprise our dearest ones and give them a carefully prepared, delicious gift.
The calendar is in A3 format, can be hung.
Both the previous and next month are visible in the smaller size.
